These terms and conditions apply to bookings and purchases of services via Slow Sense. All services are wellness-based and offered as part of Slow Sense's sensory concept universe.

By completing a booking or purchase, you accept the terms below.

Slow Sense complies with applicable Danish law, including the Danish Consumer Contracts Act and the Sale of Goods Act. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

1. GENERAL

These terms apply to all bookings and purchases of services via Slow Sense.

2. PRICES & PAYMENTS

All prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

Private (Reset Walks)
Payment is made via Stripe at the time of online booking. A booking is confirmed once payment is completed and you have received a confirmation email from Slow Sense.

Workshops and Sauna Rituals
Some services, including workshops and sauna rituals, are facilitated in collaboration with external partners. Where a booking is made through a partner, that partner's terms apply, including payment, cancellation and refunds. Slow Sense acts as facilitator and is not responsible for the booking of these events.

3. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWEL

For services with a fixed date — including Reset Walks — the right of withdrawal applies up until the service begins, in accordance with section 18(2) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us in writing at hej@slowsense.dk before the activity takes place.

4. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

Cancellation by the participant — Reset Walks

Cancellation must be made in writing to hej@slowsense.dk no later than 48 hours before the activity.
Cancellations made later than 48 hours before, or non-attendance, are non-refundable.
Cancellations made within the deadline are offered a full refund or rebooking to an alternative date.

Events and workshops booked directly with Slow Sense

Bookings are binding and non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your place to another person — just let us know their name in advance so we can update the booking.
Where specific booking terms apply to an event, these are clearly stated on the relevant booking page before purchase.

Workshops and sauna rituals facilitated through an external partner

When a workshop or sauna ritual is booked through a partner's own system, that partner's cancellation and refund terms apply.
Slow Sense acts as facilitator and is not responsible for the booking of these events and cannot be held responsible for cancellations by partners.

Cancellation by Slow Sense

If we cancel, you will be contacted via the email used for booking.
You will be offered either a full refund or a place on an alternative date.

Force majeure
Slow Sense cannot be held responsible for cancellations or changes due to force majeure, including natural disasters, weather conditions, illness or other circumstances beyond our control.

5. HEALTH AND SUITABILITY

It is always the participant's own responsibility to assess their physical and mental suitability to take part in activities. Slow Sense recommends that you consult a healthcare professional if you are in any doubt about your health. Slow Sense cannot be held responsible for health problems arising during or after participation.

Certain activities, including Reset Walks in cold weather, can be demanding for the body. If you take part despite health reservations, you do so at your own responsibility.

6. MINORS

Our services are intended for adults. Participation for persons under the age of 18 requires written consent from a parent or guardian. On registration, the participant confirms that they are at least 18 years old or have obtained the necessary consent.

7. LIABILITY AND RISKS

Participation in activities is at your own responsibility. Slow Sense disclaims liability to the extent permitted by Danish law.

Slow Sense cannot be held responsible for personal injury, illness, loss of earnings or material damage arising during or after participation. In cases of gross negligence or intentional breach on the part of Slow Sense, we assume legal responsibility.

8. COMPLAINTS

Any complaints must be made in writing to hej@slowsense.dk no later than 14 days after the activity.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, you may complain to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board via naevneneshus.dk, or via the EU's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on slowsense.dk is protected by copyright and may only be used for private, personal purposes. Content may not be copied, distributed or used commercially without prior written consent from Slow Sense.

10. PERSONAL DATA

Slow Sense processes personal data in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Danish law. Please see our Privacy & Cookie Policy for further information.

11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Slow Sense reserves the right to amend these terms. The current terms will always be available at slowsense.dk.
